I took mine voting, too. They loudly remarked "Where do we vote for Jack Layton, Mum?" Then I had to explain about the secret ballot.
Then I went to the poll clerk with my X-ed ballot, and she tore the little black strip off it, then I put the corner of it into the ballot box and directed my daughter, "Okay, now you push it into the ballot box." Poll Clerk almost had six fits. "No! NO!! SHE IS NOT ALLOWED to put the ballot in!! You must put it in yourself!"
Ooookay then. I pushed the ballot in, fixed her with an icy stare, and said "So much for teaching my children about the democratic process."
She just blustered while I walked away in disdain.
Hahahaha!! To adorable! These comments are so funny..kids are like parrots..they will totally say what you don't want everyone to know (even if it's true!!!)
... I made my mark in the history of this nation.

My littlest son yelled as I was voting..."you're voting for Natan Cullen...everyone else sucks right mom?"
